Business Coaching for Therapists
Grad school didn’t teach us how to run a business! Starting your own group practice is a daunting process. After successfully creating my practice 3 years ago, I’d love to support you in your journey.
The decision
Does it make sense for me to “go out on my own”? Is it financially viable? How will I find clients? Am I able to do the business side of things? There are many questions to think through and it can be overwhelming to know where to start. I’ll help you find the information you need to make informed decisions aligned with your needs and values.
Ways I support therapists creating their practices:
The vision
Once you’ve decided to create your practice, I’ll support you in creating your vision for your practice. This might include niche/specialty area, the “vibe” of the practice, and the feel of the space (whether you have a physical office or not).
Office space and set-up
For those who want to practice in-person, I support with searching for office space, as well as designing the office.
The dreaded admin side of things
I support with creating paperwork for clients, setting up your EHR, and creating systems to set you up for success for the ongoing bookkeeping.
Marketing
From branding, networking, website creation (click here for website creation info) and basic SEO, I’ll support you in creating and implementing your marketing strategy.
Sustainability: Creating structure and support
There are many wonderful things about being your own boss; it’s also true that no one is going to hold you accountable, celebrate you, or answer your last-minute but urgent questions! I’ll walk you through creating your own support networks so that you don’t feel alone as a solo practitioner.
